- Black Bark Mulch - $0.85 per sq ft, 3" deep

- Red Bark Mulch - $0.95 per sq ft, 3" deep

- Cedar Wood Chips Mulch - $1.25 per sq ft, 3" deep

-Landscape fabric placed beneath the mulch smothers the weeds that are present, and is a barrier to prevent weeds from growing up through the mulch.

-Without landscape fabric, the layer of mulch should be at least 3" thick to effectively suppress weed growth, and should be replaced when most of it looks more like soil than wood chips.
